We the Living
Duncan Scott Productions, Inc. has sole rights to the 1942 masterpiece based on Rand’s novel about a young woman fighting for her freedom in war-torn Russia.
Directed by Italy’s legendary Goffredo Alessandrini, and boasting an all-star cast, We the Living was filmed in Fascist World War II Italy, and under the radar of dictator Benito Mussolini, and his bureaucratic henchmen. Because of the circumstances surrounding the making of the film, We the Living was soon lost to the annals of history, only to be rediscovered decades after being made.
